Defender 2007 tdci abs issue

Hi why does my abs kick in everytime I brake the abs light is not on only when I start the engine the abs light will stay on till I drive a few meters then goes out the light does not come on when I brake thanks 2007 2.4 tdci defender

There are 107 different fault codes listed in the manual, so getting a diagnostic tool readout will narrow down the possible cause. You could start by looking for an obvious fault like damaged wiring at each wheel sensor, or damaged sensor itself.
