Defender 2001 td 5 Speedo not working

Hi hope someone can help me, the speedo cable looks fine and is connected ok, is there any other way the speedo can fail?

You need to remove it and check that the cable is still in one piece inside the sleeve

I had a similar problem with my 02' td5 110. Was simply a matter of a mucky connection on the back gear casing. Get under it with some electrical contact cleaner and a good scrub. See if it sorts it.
