As push button doors are so expensive to replace, I have been looking at the SP Land Rover series door conversion for the defender and I was just wondering if anyone had any experience of these or the supplier?
They are £200 plus vat for bare doors plus locks, striker and window latch and I have not seen any reviews and just don't want to waste my money.
Any advice welcome.

This is very common with challenge trucks and like you say, people who don't want to spend £500 changing there doors.

I actually have 2 series doors waiting to go on my 90.

I bought mine second hand but all the big boys will do them. IE Paddocks, craddocks etc.

Get the correct strikers line them up and off you go.

Is that £200 a pair or each?

If its £200 each SP sell Galvanised Push Button doors for £275, you might as well buy them!

no it works out 300ish for everything to with door tops. latches anti burst etc
i brought some and got them ready to go into primer, impressed so far looks all ok.
cheap and dont look half bad tbh :)

did it on mine as its a soft top but much prefer series doors to be honest :) who needs wind down windows anyway ... tops off is so much better :)

Cheers guys for all the info I am looking to go and see SP in Liverpool in the next few weeks and check them out. Will stick a couple of photo's on if I buy them.

The doors cost £100 for two bottoms and £49 each for the tops and then you need the locks striker etc all plus Vat so around £300 for both doors with the bits which is not bad.
The look has definitely grown on me. That's a good looking truck ebbadger a bit out of my league it's taking me long enough just to get mine on the road.
