Fookin hell ! It’s a bit hairy getting the wobble at 60 on the motorway! Had to dive onto the hard shoulder to get it under control by slowing right down, hopefully won’t happen in the future as they’re busy converting that stretch of M4 to ‘smart’ motorway, so future breakdowns may be a bit more scary.
Time to order a swivel pin kit me thinks.

Tried that at the beginning of Summer, worked temporarily but I’m going to give the hub a bit of an overhaul following the excellent Land Rover Toolbox videos on YouTube.

Don't buy cheap

Check every joint/track rod this can also cause problems.

Check the front axle suspension/steering joints for wear, as well as the rear trailing arm bushes. When they wear the rear axle can steer itself resulting in a bit of a weave and 'interesting' handling.

Will do. Definitely the swivel pin on this occasion - the pool of one-shot grease on the floor was the first clue!
