Deans Defender rebuild

A few goodies that have turned up so far. Few more to unpack but just in from work and its a bit late.

I can vouch for this! Excellent piece of kit.

Been a while since i updated this! I was very busy with work over the winter so didnt get much time on it. It is now a rolling chassis though!!! Some pics of progress:

Im now in the process of trying to find someone to repair my bulkhead. If there is anyone localish with the right welder to do it i would be interested as some of the people ive spoken to have been useless at getting back to me. i have new footwells, a pillars and top corner pieces to replace. Some pictures of the rust damage:

Apart from all those blue boxes on your living room table! id get rid of them as soon as possible for a different make.

Who's is the pug?

Blue boxes were only track rod ends. Ive not brought anything else britpart other than any nuts and bolts ive ordered.

The pug is my track/drag racing toy. Its been converted into a turbo 106 and is running 417 bhp @ the wheels and just shy of 400 lb ft torque.

Still in need for someone to repair my bulkhead! Everyone claims they can do it then doesn't bother getting back to me about when they can!!
