Dead Freebie

HI, hoping someone can help.

Last night we had trouble getting the car started, it had already been started and was left for about an hour and a half and then went back to come home and would not start. After 3 attempts it eventually started but on the drive home was runnin rough. This morning went out to start it again after 3 attempts started, moved it out as normal went backa couple of hours later and now will not start at all, it will turnover and all lights on as normal, but no brum brum.

should have said diesel

could be an air lock or dirty filter.....

or either one of the pumps could be on the blink.

Hi m8,
sounds like a fuel prob to me, try new filter.If not it could be one of the three fuel pumps.Your best bet is to get it on a diagnostic, this will (all being well) lead u straight to the prob.

Also check the relays for the fuel pumps, also Ming has done several threads about this(listening for pumps powering up etc). I'll have a search see if I can find em...
