Hi all, advice please anyone took vents and clock out the dash on a Freelander 1 3dr 2001? Is it easy to do or do I have to take the whole dash out?
Excellent that’s what I am wanting to do but was going to try painting them?Hi I just removed all 4 vents from my freelander1 to replace with different coloured ones so done 8 in total they are held in place with small
Metal clips on the side of the vent the vents next to the doors are the easy ones if you remove the mirror control switch you can push one of the metal clips in use a thin screwdriver/trim tool/old bank card on the other side and the vent pops out the ones in the centre are a bit harder but same job takes time but they’ll come out
If you look on eBay for a vent it will show you the clips that is what I done
