Dashboard Lights

hey chaps, just looking for a bit of advice on what could be the issue with the dash lights

had a search on other threads but still not quite sure

basically had a new engine put in, and since then the only lights coming on are the handbrake light, where before everything was working

suggestions would be great

I haven't a clue, as installing a replacement engine is mechanical and the lighting is electrical.

What electrical stuff was touched?

Take it back. Something has been disconnected/disturbed somewhere.

Alternator wiring is a possibility ..

I would start there make sure all wires are connected...

unfortunately not really an option, work was done by a friend not a garage, as he gave me a good deal on the engine at the same time

will have a poke round this week

does he know stuff dont work? if he can fit an engine then he should have some idea of where to look for oil lights and alternator lights?
or at least, be able to talk you thru doing it?
