Dashboard light

I got myself a 98 v8i disco on Monday, just noticed a flickering green light(towbar?) anyone know what it means? Cheers

Its the trailer light, it should come on for a split second when you indicate or when you've got a trailer hooked up to the electrics

Had the same fear when I first got mine...felt like a tool worrying after I found out why it happened. In the book it says that it comes onto let you know it works and if you are towing it stays lit all the time.

Not all the time, just when you use the indicators

Yeah , cos that would be , like , just silly.....everyone knows thats what mirrors are for....like , in case you forgets you gots a trailer on , innit

It flashes to tell you the trailer indicators are working..or did you know that and were just trying to be funny?
