The dash lights on my ninth have stopped working making it difficult to see how slow I’m going at night.

There is no power to the bulbs and fuses are all OK.

From the wiring diagram the red wire from the light switch turns into a red/white wire somewhere. There is 12 volts on the red wire so I’m working on the assumption that something has come adrift where the red turns into red/white. I can’t find where that happens. Both cables disappear into the main loom coming into the dash but I can’t trace it from there.

Do any of you experts know where I might find this or do I need to rip out the dash?

Check the switch that turns the inside light/dash lights on and off, could be faulty or even in the wrong position.
Hmmm. I don't have one of those. The diagram, that matches the wiring colours doesn't show one either although the diagram that matches the age of the vehicle does but the wiring colours are different. Typical Land Rover.

Where would that switch normally hide? Is it in the group of three down by the drivers door? Where I have three holes.
