damaged pass outer wing

hey ya guys,

I have dented my outer wing rather a bit. inner wing looks fine. What can I do to get dents out, or wont this work? is it best to just replace it? its not really a big problem to be fair, but still be nice to get it flat as the rest of the landy is fine.

haha like I said boys aint that bothered. That was from hitting a snow ball that pushed in my bumper and niped against my wing grrrr lol

a snowball did that! do you have one of them crap bumpers which looks like a hd but has a weak bit in the middle behind the reg plate?

look standard to me mate (but does look thin about 2-3mm, aint sure what is normal I guess). It was just the corner that got fooked. check out the pics. used to look lovely and black :-(.

ye thats fooked i got one o the crappy ones i was on about it broke on a log a few weeks back. new one on order!

Do you realise you have also lost a toe?.... check your sock I would just sort the bumper and rub down, prime and hand paint the wing and body. I hand painted mine last year... looks more than good enough.

ya saying I cant get the dents out of the wing then chap? Got a new bumper as had to get one to house the winch so bumper not an issue. If ya look its so heavily kinked ya cant get it straight, it started disintegrating and holes apeared in the bumper where it got smashed. I did try to save it :-(.

Its going to cost a fortune to get a panel beater who knows what he is doing to repair that - get a second hand one off ebay.

How the hell did the wing get like that, only for the indicator light to survive!!!

saw a series complete wing set in and out pass and driver side other week for £180. same colour also. Wasnt sure what ones I could interchange with. Oh, I have a 200tdi, so will need air vent thingy. but still anything els?

only the arches, inners, & mountings that are diffderent , and pos the lights,

the 90 / 110 wings go cheap enough when they come up, thers nawt up with that really, its a battle scar to be worn with pride

tis true about battle scar aint a big deal. I thought if I come to paint it, ill then want to sort it out. Not high up on me list. just speculating I guess. So ya saying buy a 90 or 110 wing when it comes up at the right price. what would that be anyhows?? no more than £50??. local salvage yard said he should have one in next week. thats when I was speaking to him last week.

£50 would be ok, less would be better

Add about £30 to do a hand paint on it and the rest of the body work... job done?
