Hi guys my name is Dale and I live in the Stamford area in Lincolnshire.

I have had my Discovery 2 TD5 Manual Landmark since January 2011. I brought the vehicle in a bit of a poor state as the previous owner clearly didn’t have any respect for it.

I spent a lot of time, effort and money putting it right though, and since then I have been one very proud owner as she is a beauty!

It has full service history and I have not skimped on the maintenance, every little thing it has needed it has had!

My modification list so far in the D2 is not the best as the vehicle has predominately been used as a tow vehicle for my race car trailer. However I have done a few bits such as;

Headlamp and rear lamp protectors
Wind deflectors
Genuine Rubber mats throughout
Fitted cruise control
Fitted bluetooth
Clear side repeaters
Refurbished the wheels
General Grabber AT2’s all round
Terrafirma steering damper
EGR valve removal
Dynachip remap

The old girl has been used as my daily for the last well nearly four years and has coped amazingly, such a great workhorse.

I am due to be getting a promotion at work which in turn will mean a company car so the Landy can take a well-earned rest and I can then do what I have always wanted to it.

It will never be a mud monster as I will always need it to tow, however I have always loved green laning and intend to get involved in a lot more, and make the Disco into a proper laner!

Here are a couple of pics, sorry they're not the best as they're a few years old and were before I had refurbished the wheels, but they are still silver so looks no different just shinier. I will get some better ones soon... hope you like guys

nice looking td5 mate, will look even better if you fit a snorkle.:D:D:D

As it's a miserable day I thought I would make the effort and give the old girl a well deserved clean and take some up to date pictures

I didn't have time to do anything on the interior as is started chucking it down but it's still fairly tidy inside

Next up... Snorkel! :)

The post man's been... Wonder what it could be
