DAB Radio

Hi everyone. Hope someone can help me here. I have a freelander2 HSE wich has a stereo that says digital but I only get fm and am.
I understand that some earlier models only had fm/am stereos.
My question is if I take a working DAB Radio out of another freelander and swop it over, will it work or is there anything else I need to do. Many thanks for your replies.

No it's not that easy.

If your current radio has a DAB legend on the button, then it is capable of decoding the DAB signal. However that's where it gets complicated, as none of the DAB receiving equipment is fitted, neither is the wiring.

Retrofitting DAB has been done, but it's a lot of work, and then the system needs to be programmed, or it still won't work.
