So you think those screws with these heads are secure do you? when you can buy a kit of bits to undo them, along with the other dozen or so of similar design heads for so called security screws.
So use the screws to try and secure their number plates, but still thy go missing over night.

Know where ur coming from ref the screws , but if u stick the plastic covers over the screws , indeed at least it may slow someone down in trying to Nick them

We use to use those screws with security/fire equipment in hostels/ council housing and the like, but the kit was still removed by the inmates leaving them in danger.. if they had thought about it. So an engineer was dispatched to replace the missing items and reset the system.

We had to use all different types of security screws to stop people in community centres altering or pinching the heating controls

Even fitting a cage secured with raw bolts didn’t work , thermostat in the end we hid it up high on a beam

Alas must have been a nightmare in ur circumstances ref fire controls

Have seen some of the screws that once in can’t come out, but alas need to break the item to get them out again , have like a right hand ridge on them

Yes the cages did work for us either, securing a control panel face plate was another issue we had to over come or the manufacturer did.
