Hi yet another problem if anyone can help , driving along either slow or motorway speeds , I get some jolts from the steering wheel it moves a couple inches always to the left , this happened a few weeks ago so I changed both front hubs /bearings thought it stopped it untill now , it feels like wheel was loose or about to fall off lol , I’ve jacked up front and on rocking wheels 9/3 there is some play could this be track rods , ?

indeed check all the track rod ends, wishbone bushes etc , in the 3 x different ride heights , rock the top of the tyre back and forth to see if there’s any movement as sometimes the wishbone bushes won’t always show movement in certain ride heights

also plse ensure the steering wheel angle sensor data is correct with the steering wheel dead straight

if that’s all correct it might need a hunter 4 x wheel alignment check,

I did get a steering angle sensor warning after and I’ve got it booked in for alignment tommorow how do I correct the sensor can I do it with autel ?

yah, that wasn’t a bad guess then, lol

So as your getting a 4 x wheel alignment done they should also reset ur angle sensor for u, assume it is the hunter system as that’s the one to go for as u get a full print out before and after

indeed the Autel will reset ur steering wheel angle sensor , indeed just ensure the wheels / steering wheel is set dead straight m then look on the Autel to ensure it says 0 degrees

after the alignment is done , plse ensure ur steering wheel isn’t offset , if it is get them to correct it

hope that’s helps

Appreciate the feedback and Yea hopefully will sort that issue out , then il be straight back on the bumpy ride as I’m certain it’s bumpy and I more keeping thinking of the struts , but il look at that once looked at suspension with the autel and rules that out .

It sounds like the steering angle sensor could have come loose from the column.
Does the DSC light come on when it's does it's tug?

Right changed track rods and ends on start up got all warnings , hdc fault , suspension lowered as soon as hit 30 mph , I thought oh ffs here we go again done this 3 cycles and seems to have cleared now seems ok , can still feel a very slight steering shake at 70 ish but nothing like before and no jolting to the left , I’m just waiting for it to start doing it again no confidence lol , had wheels aligned all steering straight and in limits .
