Hi, I have a D3 (55 plate) which has developed an intermittent fault in that the screen for my satellite navigation system sometimes does not switch itself off when the key is removed from the ignition. Has anyone else experienced this? Or have any idea what could be causing this problem to occur?
This has happened with the Radio too, the screen is illuminated as if the system is on when it is off? Pressing the on/off button does nothing, it's as if both systems go into a lock out/freeze mode. Am thinking that both problems could be connected?
When this has happened I've had to disconnect my battery temporarily for the systems to reset themselves.
I have it booked in with my mechanic who is a hobby land rover enthusiast for a diagnostic check, but thought I try asking here too.
Any helpful tips/advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you
