D2 v8 wont start! Urgent help needed please

Hi All, Just been asked for a bit of urgent help about a D2 V8 not starting.All i know is that the Disco will start but wont run for long.To get it running again he has to keep locking and unlocking the truck and then it will run again but then cut out.He says he can hear the fuel pump prime if he keeps putting the ignition on and off.This all i know so any help would be appreciated.

said he had to keep locking and unlocking it to make it start so presumed it could be that cutting the fuel supply or ignition voltage supply

This is what i have mentioned but he says it has been disarmed? Is there any way of testing it? Hes saying that he has no hazard warning lights flashing or any leds showing when he locks and unlocks the doors

This chap is stranded and all im trying to do is get a quick answer for someone who is stuck. I understand about the search facility but i need a quick answer from someone who is willing to help

Out of curiosity has it got leaking sunroofs and is the ECU soaked etc ?

hang around a bit longer somebody might pop up, have you thought about the rescue services yet? AA, RAC et al

On a sat night I reckon most of LZIR will be ****ed!

I'm nearly there although theres no one in cumbria in need of a tow or abuse hurling at them so its cool

At the moment hes just trying to get it started so i am relaying messages from a couple of sites for him but i think its looking like hes going to be needing the rescue services like you say
