Hi so I have a 1999 d2 td5.
I came away for weekend to caravan.
Came to it Saturday morning and its started but the startermotor was stuck out switch it off and didn't start after that.
I have had both fuseboxes out and dried then which has made no difference.
I then came on here are read a few post that said it could be the xyz switch.
I bought a replacement switch fitted it still the same. I then bypassed the interia switch still the same.
So I go to start the disco and the fuel pump is not priming there is no noise for the pump at all.
I have the m and s flashing on the dash aswell as the red light on the temp gauge is soild and no heater plug light comes on when I turn the ignition on.
Any help would be much apprishated as iam at a loose end now and getting more off by the day.
I did have a issue around a year ago when the hazards lights what always flashing. It was a problem down to the immobiliser. I had that bypassed with someone with the naocom system they had I don't no if that is going to be relevant to this issue but thought it might be worth a mention just on the off chance.
