D2 TD5 Accessory Mount/Water pump.

Hello.

I need to replace the accessory mount that the water pump and AC mount to. This has a hole in it. I have also bought a water pump as it may as well be replaced to. What I cannot find out is if there is a gasket that mounts this casing to the main engine block? Or do you just use gasket sealant?

Would appreciate any advice before we remove it if possible.

You will find there is a rubber sealing ring that fits in the hole.

Thanks Nigel. Much appreciated. Does anyone know the part number? I struggle to even find the correct part name for the block in question. Lots of info on replacing the pump but not the block.

Thanks Nigel. Waterpump replaced and leaks have now been resolved! Thanks. Another issue now but I'll start a new thread. Thanks for the help.
