Hi all,
haven't posted on here for some time as I haven't had too many problems of late (kiss of death !)
I have an 03 D2 TD5 and it's time to replace the steering box.
i've found lots of recons out there but 90 odd % state up to 02, once you go to 03/04 there are very few and the price goes up
i've done some searching to find out what the difference is but there is very little info out there, the only info I could find was a post on here that said there was an extra seal.
is this correct ? what does the extra seal do ?
does the earlier box fit or do I have to fit the later model ?
thanks in advance for any info, I just want to fit the right part but don't want to be stung an extra £40/50 if I don't have to
