Hi There
My 2000 D2 is listed as GS spec on my V5.
A previous owner has added a Premium badge at some point and put on Facelift headlights, clear lens indicators & side repeaters. The car runs on Comet 18" wheels.

Inside the seats are electric heated leather and the door cards are suede with wood trim. Air Con is manual not climate and sunroofs are manual too. Would the seats and door trims have been an option on the GS or have they been changed also?
Thanks in advance
Stuart

Hi Stuart, it sounds like some previous owner has changed the interior - seats and door cards - it's not at all uncommon.

Electric seats plus the Alcantara door insert with burr walnut wood trim are from an ES model and not available on any other model even as an option in 2000-1.

The 2000-1MY disco GS,XS,ES and the Adventurer had ATC automatic temperature control (climate control) fitted.

So the wiring for the seats is there already?
I guessed the interior has been changed, it has been well done and was one of the reasons I bought the car.
Thanks for the info.

Mine came with manual cloth seats, now have 7 leather seats with electric and heated front seats same door cards as yours all from an ES. you can up grade most of it to ES spec, climate mite be your hardest be.

I was lucky I had climate control but added interior as said, cruise control, heated front screen, illuminated mirrors in sun visors.

I don't have sunroofs (didn't want them after all the leaks Ive heard about) but you can also convert them to electric if you wanted.
