Hi all
Unfortunatelly my car has damaged a few days ago in a parking place as someone hit it from the back while reversing out from her parking place. The rear bumper, finisher and the wing have broken. Even the insurance company will pay (should cover full cost) probably I will get much less as the car old and no new part will be payed only used ones.
Used parts are getting very rare now in Hungary and due to brexit it will be even more difficult to get.
I have found one used rear bumper (also needs small repair) but it has reversing sensors so I can not put my aftermarket ones (as the hole is probably different) back.
I see one free connector on my car which can be for the sensors. I guess I would need some other units.
Do you think I can somehow use those already installed factory sensors?

That would involve a lot of hassle cos you need factory PDC ECU and switch also it's possible that some wiring mod is neccessary too as long as your's was not factory fitted with PDC.

Yes, in the meanwhile i have also found that a PDC and a switch would be needed. If I am lucky I could get them for about 50 pounds...
But still question if the sensors in the bumper are all good?
Do you think it can work with the Valeo unit what i have in my car (normally i would just change the sensors but the holes are bigger for the factory unit)
