Disco 2 D2 front spring seats

Anyone know where I'd be able to get new front spring seats on line? Rear ones are plentiful and cheap and I have some on order but the fronts seem to be rare and expensive. Maybe I'm using the wrong search terms? Perhaps thet have another name I'm not aware of?

That's not a D2, it's D1 / RR / Defender
D2 front has the brake pipe bkt and more importantly has the shaped recess for the spring offset coil end.
DLS in Wirksworth used to have them and Island4x4

Wow ! Just seen some of the crazy prices for new ones - over£150 each !
Maybe you need to consider good second hand.
I often use Paul McGill at "Discovery 2 Parts" on Facebook or via the www.d2bc.co.uk forum.
He has lots of very good condition stock & always dispatches well packed.
The alternative if you handy with diy is to convert to the more common D1/Defender front supports & springs

yes I think it would not take to long to covert to the shape you need, it need a stop for the spring and a bracket welding on, it you have the old one then you can copy it

I really need the D2 ones as I have all the other suspension parts waiting to be fitted. P38 spares don't have them in stock.

I have decided to refurbish my old ones after taking a closer look at them. They're not too bad but the brackets will need to be cut off and new ones fabbed and welded back on. Shouldn't be too difficult.
