Brittle plastic syndrome!
So I broke the connector to the brake servo, and have found the following:
ANR6916 being the pipe from the alternator to the brake servo

and:
STC493 - being the valve on pre-TD5 models

Question - is the valve for the TD5 version available individually, or do I need to take out another mortgage to buy the complete pipe? Getting the far end of the pipe off also looks like a mare of a job, which I really, really, would prefer to avoid, so please tell me there is a part number for what I need?????
