D2 auto no drive

I’m sure this has already been answered somewhere but my d2 auto has no forward gears I can only assume this is the clutch packs which would not be worth replacing on the vehicle unfortunately. Is there anything else it could be before is strip the car down for parts

Have you checked the XYZ switch? Before you go any further??

It shows it’s in drive on the dash

IMHO, you are wrong with this - they are well worth replacing, as the more modern "vehicles" are just collection of ECU's looking for an excuse to throw a hissy fit..

Assuming its still in gear on the TB, then have you tried putting it in 1st, and seeing if it drives then ? ..

There's a load of info on the ashcroft site about the very well known failure modes of the 4HP22 boxes .. being well known also makes them relatively easy and cheap to fix

if it’s a easy fix then I will definitely do it but gearbox out is not worth doing on this truck it’s been beaten up got no mot and the chassis is on its way out I will take a look on the Ashcroft website thanks

Mine did start doing that! That's after I got the transmission fixed bit of trial and error under the pit!?!?!

Look at all avenues before throwing in the towel mate!!

Is hi- lo in neutral?

Send her down in to manual 1st and see if you get anything..

If you do then the most likely fault is a bust sprag clutch a known hp22 fault.
