Disco 2 D2 Auto Box Solenoid Issue, now gone away??

Hi All,

Cruising out of London on the A2 at 50 with cruise control on. Gear changed down, rev's increased and when I looked down the M and S lights were flashing. Gearbox had gone into limp mode. Pulled over, switched off, went thrugh gears and it persisted. Plugged in the Nanocom i had with me:

Fault Code P0753
SOLENOID VALVE 1 MONITORING
(S/C TO GROUNDOR 0/C)

Cleared the fault code and it imediately appeared everytime i selected a forward gear. even left it for 10 mins. Still did the same. Driving home carefully valve 1 was off.

Got home, got changed and had a look under it, to see what cabling I could and check something hadn't caused a wiring issue. Nothing. Cleared the fault agian the the gearbox has worked fine since (about 40 miles)

Any thoughts??

The most common is chaffed gearbox harness at the P clip on the transfer box, you have to remove the central console to reach there
