Hello, I’m new to Landyzone so please point me in the right direction if there is an existing thread!
I have bought my first discovery 2 it’s an 04 plate manual. Due to recent surgery I need an automatic so I have bought an 03 plate auto D2.
When holding down the lock button on the 04 Landy the headlights come on and stay on for 20-30 secs.
The 03 plate does nothing.
Is there a way to enable this feature? Is it just the 04 plates that have this feature? Is there a fuse or wire that could have come loose?

Any help is much appreciated

Sam

Hi.
All I can think of is it’s been set like that in the FMH (Follow Me Home think that’s what it’s called) settings.
Have you had a look in the manual?

P38 has a delay for the headlights so you can get to the front door with the headlights showing the way. If you turn of the car before headlights(I think)

I don’t know the answer but @gstuart may know. But it may involve a visit to dealer:( unless you have your own diagnostics.

Fun learning all the new things a car does, till it goes wrong:D

Yes, that function is subject of BCU setting, it's called "courtesy headlamps" and must be enabled with dedicated tester if it was disablwd by the previoius owner cos the factory setting is to be active
