D1 rubber arch liner?

Hi there have a d1 here that has had the stock arch liner taken out to be welded was wondering if anyone knew the best rubber liners to replace it to make it bit more waterproofed ?

Hi I am doing the same job on my 1990 4 door and will use a seam sealer around the plastic
Liner to effectively block off the inner wing from water and crap,
If at a later date I need to get in there then a long blade Stanley should be all that is necessary
To cut the sealer,
Obviously I will under seal the inner wing before refitting wing and plastic sheald,

I was meaning more along the line of replacing the stock plastic shield with a rubber mat of some kind ?

Hi I appreciate that and likewise would prefer something along the same lines, but I don’t know
Of anything suitable so intend to use panel sealer on the existing plastic shield
At least it will stop the majority of crap being shoved up to the inner wing,
Also going to block the many pre drilled holes that have silly black stickers on the inner wing to stop water being thrown up and penetrating the engine compartment,
All in all a very poor design considering it’s use IMO
