D1 rear crossmember

hi all, been a long time due to stripping down to replace rear body crossmember. Has anybody purchased the said item from either Craddocks or Paddocks & if so did you have any problems fitting it due to it being a pattern part. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Ps has anyone any tips in removing spotwelds besides the obvious answer of using a spot weld drill.

My crossmember welded on nice and easy no probs with matching it up, what's wrong with using a drill to remove spot welds??

If I remember correctly there's been a few post's on here about Paddock's cross member not aligning properly, have a look at these

Thanks for the reply Graham, i will try a normal hss drill & see how i get on, when you replaced your crossmember did you brace the rear door aperture before you removed the crossmember?

Thanks Dewin, i think i will give Paddocks a miss. I looked at the YRM crossmembers & think i might give them a go
