well second go .... lost the first thread

well Ideal world you turn the ignition key car starts good to go ... the (ABS) light goes off and you never think twice about it.
well my (ABS) goes of and at random intervals comes back on and stays on.

Done the things I believed to be right:

- changed pads & replaced
- checked calipers
- checked fluid
- bleed brake system

and to all above if i turn right while driving (rolling really only) and i am only doing a few 10 -20mph the brake pedal give me (ABS) feedback ... otherwise braking is fine

So how do i check the (ABS) now ... whats it going to cost me to replace if its duff ... any thought comments more than welcome

happy xmas and happy driving in the new year

the things you have done wont fix the abs...
You need to read the fault code and correct the problem. A common fault is the sensors on the front wheels needing reseating, you knock them back down. But if that cures it for a bit and it happens again your wheel bearings or swivel bearings might need replacing. Do search on here, there are plenty of posts on here about it, including links to information about how to read and clear the fault codes

HI i,ve never worked on disco abs systems but i work on abs systems on trucks & trailers & the sensors have to pick up their signal from an exciter ring usually mounted on the inside of the hub. as well as the sensors i would check the condition of the exciter rings as faults with either of these would can the warning light to come on after reaching a certain speed.
