Recently the heater matrix in the 300tdi jap 97 started to leak,,,a lot.Being 2 days before my hols I linked the ends of the heater water hoses in the engine bay and left it for another day. Well, that day is here.
Since the old unit had a clattery fan I thought I may as well replace the whole box.So.....what I would like to know is,eg; can a non A/C one be used with the old A/C parts scabbed on ?
...how different and what is the difference between the standard and air con boxes ? Obvious sounding, but details would be nice,
...how different and what etc is the early D2 box ? The fascia panel is the same in the major details....is the inside just as similar ? Are they interchangable? And if so,anyone breaking a D2 with a decent one ?
