Cutting out

Anyone got an idea why a 2008 Puma would drive a mile then cut out like it's got no fuel, then drive a mile and cut out etc. with no fault codes?

Crank sensor, knackered fuel pump, knackered fuel pump ecu, low fuel pressure, etc etc

has the live data been checked or was it just a fault code reader that it was plugged into?

Did you ever get to the bottom of why your defender was cutting out, I have recently bought a 2008 puma engined defender and mine cuts out in the morning but then restarts and us fine all day. No fault codes are showing
