Cruise Control - which type of switch?

Hi guys crazy question but can anyone tell me if the cruise control switch on the centre console latches or is just push to make etc
 
yea i reckon it does,As I push that button in and a little orange light illuminates on it,Then for cruse i push the steering wheel buttons.Then when I dont want to use cruse for a while I push the switch on the dash back in.On my Disco 2.
