cruise control problem

hi guys this is the second time i have listed this as i now have more info on what i think the problem may be on my cruise control. well to start with it dont work,so to update those who may have not read my previous thread.i havev checked all hoses. the vacume motor is fine i have tested that. the brake modual is fine. the ecu is fine. switch is fine .now the problem is no power when i press c/c switch no light comes on dash and no light on switch. now i have put test meter on the main feed in to switch which is green/yellow power from fusebox. but no power feed to ecu down white and yellow wire.so i tested switch and now found the switch is faulty so i linked the wire across from main feed to switch across to white and yellow wire and i now have feed down to ecu but still get no light on dash. i take it the vacume motor wont operate till the car is moving is that right.can some one throw some light on here .please

just up date on this issue have now fixed the cruise control. problems were split ends on hoses. pump missing. and electric problem was the main c/c switch.all now works fine,
