Cruise Control not working

Now Then, New to owning a 95 P38 4.6 HSE, the cruise control does'nt work! previously it would work intermittantly, but has now given up completely, the light on the switch does'nt even illuminate, i've checked the vacuum lines over and they seem to be in good order, with the switch not illuminating i tend to think i'ts electrical, but don't know where to start, i've looked for a fuse but could'nt find one!. Can anyone out there help. Thanks 12 bore.
