How about the ball-joints and steering damper?
Can you get someone to move the steering while you have a good look from underneath?
pleased you said about the clonk as the front passenger side clonks when i go over speed bumps and have looked all over the under side but cannot find the prob how do you check for a fubard C.V![]()

If you get a knock over speed bumps it can really only be that or a shocker.

Running out of options then. There has to be something loose under there. Not something bouncing around in the spare wheel well i suppose?
