Oh well, we all knew I'd be back with another issue :( Over the last few days I've heard a creaking/groaning noise a couple of times coming from somewhere possibly near the rear of veh , after locking up and walking away. It doesn't do it all the time and typically it doesn't do it when I stand and wait to hear it! There are no warning messages on dash so no help there and as it's being awkward I can't pin the noise down to an exact spot. As background she sits for days to weeks at a time without being driven.
So before I take it to my local, friendly, indie, and give him the same vague description, has anyone else suffered similar/anyone any idea what it might be?
Thanks in advance :)

have a listen around the rear calipers,as mine did the same only the noise was from the front.Turned out to be the caliper sticking.:)

Ah ha! Now there's an idea , as we were talking about doing my calipers before I went on tour. I should've nipped down and seen about them since I got back but I've been playing catch up with other things in life. Thanks for that :)

Oh - for some reason thought you were a P38 man...my bad...

Check calipers, but it has been known for the rear bushes to groan or clonk when they are due replacement.

No worries :) I'll check both over the next couple of days. It's a little disconcerting to walk away and hear her groaning :(
