Does anybody have any info on the freelander 2 engine I have a build up of engine pressure crankcase breather where is it ? I no that the bmw conversion won't work as it's a different engine, I have been looking at the small pipercross crankcase breather might give that a try thanks

You guys are lucky to pay so little for the cyclone filter
I went to the local BMW dealer recently and found the price had increased from the 25 or so €uro i paid 5 years ago to 70 or so €uro !!!
They also told me that the old style bog-roll filter had been discontinued .................. surprise, surprise

Just thought i would share this picture of what happens if the crankcase breather filter is blocked and the dip stick is removed from the car, its amazing what pressure builds up and what the damage could be, no wonder its recommended to change regularly now.
Where did you cut the upgrade filter to get it to sit right.
