Hi everyone I'm trying to do the cambelt but cannot for the life of me undo the 30mm bolt have tried heating it up with no luck, using an air gun to tryin gunning it off and putting stilsons on the pulley to hold it still but no luck.

Anyone have any ideas anyone or could I even cut it off and then pull the pulley off and undo the stud that's left off as I have a spare bolt???

Thanks.

Take off IP stop solenoid wire, put socket and breaker bar on nut with breaker bar under chassis near steering box, check the IP solenoid wire is disconnected, flick ignition switch to start position and release immediately, check if nut is loose, repeat previous until loose (should only take one flick)

What this helpful chap has suggested previously, always works for me;):D

I had a pair of 36" stillsons on the pulley, and a 5/8 drive ratchet 30 mm socket with a lenth of steam pipe on the ratchet, the problem is the thread lock on the bolt, it will go
I made sure the pipe grip was on the floor, and I pulled against it. If it does not go then " son you are on your own "
