Crank angle sensor

Hi All,

I recently change my crank angle sensor, on my 2001 td4

I took the old one out and put the new one is its place.

Since then I have been unable to stop it from leaking oil out (it's a [proper land rover now, driveway oil patch and everything)

Does anyone know if there should be some kind or cork washer between the sensor an the engine block?

Should be an "O" ring fitted to the shank of the sensor. FYI it's the same as the Camshaft sensor "O" ring. Part no. NYX100070L

Excellent, will take it out and check it again, and order one or its not there.

Then try and clean the oil patch....
