Cracked Head??

don't suppose you know of anyone down my neck of the woods who is recommended? I've tried asking on here for more local member's advice but not had any joy as yet.
 
Cleaned the head up tonight and checked for warpage as best I can with what tools I have. I used an engineers rule which I checked against the engineers block I have and am confident it is actually straight. I then checked the head in several places, unfortunately the rule is not quite long enough to go corner to corner, but as best I can see there is no more than 0.02mm of warp in the centre of the head.

I have added some more pictures hopefully of better quality than the last ones :) The white bits around some of the valves is paper I used to wipe the head off.

I've also taken the core plugs out, and the rear one is well shot! The large hole in the centre I made trying to get it out shows how corroded in it was! I reckon it's been the cause of my woes for some time.

What do you guys think?
