It is but still too dark in the boot I wanted to fit a small LED strip, just so much easier if I can piggyback it to the boot lid cables
Great minds, I did have that thought after stripping an led work lamp on 12v. The other closest on the body is a reading light at the rear seats? :)

Isn't the best EAS fix springs?:)
Oh oh... Swearing alert...
:p
Actually I would like to have a sprung version with a 2" lift on it for some proper off roading at the land legend here in France next year but I don't want to butcher the old girl..
But then I do have another I got for 50€, just needs a simple engine and drive train without tons of electronic gizmos...

Good friend of mine is an excellent engineer, he gave up on the EAS after many hours and a lot of cash, so I won't even consider putting mine back on bags, I am 100% happy with my springs.
Shall I get my tin hat on?
The car in my Avitar is on Bedford Rascal leaf springs, now that was a very good off roader!

A rascal? Well I...
I love the airbags but I do have thoughts.

Holy japattack batman!
Sounds like a right light footed spider in the dirt?
I've got an old LJ80, with the 1l lump in it. Trying to get a European certificate of comformity for it to register it eventually but that is not going to happen quickly!!
But.. as a project off roader it is a likely candidate.
Its identical to a series 3 underneath. Cracking little car but to short and not enough hight on ruts.... But mega fun in the crap..

A friend of mine has a LJ with the 2 stroke engine in its fantastic.
The height is easy do a spring over axle conversion, don't fit bigger than 215 / 80 tyres as it totally messes up the gearing and is a mega job to correct.
SJ clean no plate.jpg

I missed it so bought this for £250 kids painted it I fitted a 2" lift and Insa Turbo tyres.
