One of my rear lights is corroded, so the bulb doesn't make the connection. I'm travelling to Andorra tonight and don't really want to do it with a rear light out. It works if I shove a bit og foil in, to make the connectio, is there any reson why I shouldnt do this as a temp fix? Cheers in advance

Can you not take the contact out of another light, like the reversing fitting ?
I did look at all others but they are all 2 pin plugs, the rear lights are 3 pin, so not completely straighforward (for me). I'll have a go though as don't want to travel with bust light...

Any chance of putting a solder tower on the bulb 'pip' to make contact ?

Yes that's a good plan, I've never soldered before though. However, I've managed to bend remaining prong without snapping it off and I now have light! This always happens with my rear light and indicators, should have replaced the mudguards when they fell off...

Thanks all, but should be ok for the trip now. Bonne Fete from France.
