Core plug leaking

Hi all
Spotted a few drips of water couple days ago on td5 thought hose may be
Since then it's turned in to a torrent seams to be coming from plug on side of engine got it to garage told there are. 3 core plugs to replace 160 plus parts any one had any experience with these are they something I could do my self

once youve clear access to core plug fiting new isnt difficult ,chisel one side in the pry out plug with pliers or mole grips etc ,claen hole with emery and apply loctite on outer edge of plug knock in using a socket thats not too tight a fit in plug so edge of plug is just inside outer block face
