As per the title I is after a copper tank or cylinder approx 8" x 18" 200mm x 450mm for us modern eurotypes. 
It's to make my take on a kelly kettle. But much much Betterer. at a Pinch a very large Brass shell casing would probably do. though Copper would be easier to work with.
