2002 Freelander 1.8 GS A/C. Took it for MOT, while revving it up for emissons the bloody thing started to boil. Luckily HG does not seem affected. Fans not kicking in. So I have read up on it via Haynes manual. Got new temp sensor coming as I hope this is the issue having read on this site the cooling control unit makes fan stay on (cant believe a simple thing as cooling has to involve the ECU) Anyone tell me where to find the cooling fan relay as this remains unidentified in haynes.
How would you experienced LR people deal with it? What tests and in what order would you try.
Finally, this Cooling control unit, if needed, where would I get one from excluding the stealers?
