Coolant loss with no leak

Hi, as long as it's not a constant drop and the coolant always comes back to level when you open the tank it's not some big problem, it means that actually you dont have a coolant loss... an important element is the tanks cap, this must be genuine and in good shape as it has a pressure limiting valve which must keep 1.4 bar in the system, if this valve doesnt work well anymore the pressure will be greater and the air in the tank will push the fluid against the hoses which can distend then when you release the pressure it comes back to normal.

get a new tank cap to rule this out and bleed the system properly...which means to lift the tank above the bleed hole, undo the screw, wait untill a clean flow comes out there, put back partially the screw, put back the tank, start the engine, rev it above 1500rpm and keep it so untill no bubbles are coming out at te bleed screw, tighten the screw...top up the reservoir and tighten well the cap...it must not let air out only through the valve not beside.

after these things were carried out and still no joy we'll speak then

Apologies but i have uploaded it as a large image from my iphone. No idea how i enlarge them but will try again.

as it looked from the first video i said it seems like crack in the head not in the gasket unfortunately cos the bubbles as far as i saw are few mm above the gasket near the exhaust stud

Steady on, it's just the cylinder head. It's well worth replacing if the rest of the car is more or less intact. People get hundreds of thousands of miles out of these engines in some cases so they're not all duff. I'll be changing my cylinder head at the side of the road when the time comes. You can do a lot without a garage.
