Coolant / Engine overheat advise?

good news is the dealer has said they'll take responsibility over the phone,

i:e they'll pay, or the warranty will, extremely upset that i won't be able to use it until then, all local garages are booked up until next weds.

Get it in writting exactly what they will pay for!!

i've also identified further where the leak is coming from, it's not a SUPER fast leak,

i filled the coolant tank to the top with water, there was mild leakage from the passenger side, but when switching the engine on & giving it some beans a very solid drip appears from the centre just below the radiator, it's coming through a hole in the guard on the bottom. but a fairly solid stream..

Hopefully the engine isn't cooked, I would suggest that you make sure that the repairer is aware of events and checks it fully.
