Hi All

I'm looking to convert my current axle breathers ( see photo link below) to the push in type connections if possible.
I have had a mooch about the forums but failed to see if this has been done.
Has anyone done this and if so where did you get the conversion bits from.

Cheers
Kev

Axle breathers?

Check eBay to, and do a search on here for "which wading kit".

There was a thread a while back about making up a breather kit from push fittings off ebay. A much cheaper alternative to any of the official mantic ones etc.

I recently got a complete wading kit off ebay for about 25 quid. That included all the parts to do the full lot of breathers for wading, not just the axles ones. Haven't fitted it yet though.

im sure they are 1/4 bsp by 6mm, there pretty cheap of off ebay,
less than a couple of quid each, i made a few sets before and joined the axles together and the gearboxes and ran the 2 pipes up the side of the snorkal. Not sure if i trust them all to breath jammed in to a 4 in to 1 or a 6 into 1 manifold

Now that's a good point and definitely worth taking into account when deciding the setup.

Cheers for that Andy
