connecting handbrake cable to transfer box

Hi

Im looking at buying a 90 which has had a disco transfer box put in it, and the man says the hand brake cable needs attaching, ive only ever worked on series so i have no clue defender hand brakes! how easy is it to do? and how do i do it??

the difference between defender t/box and disco box for hand brake is the 2 x8mm threaded holes on speedo housing to support the hand brake bracket ,disco are on chassis side and defender on rear

Really easy job mate , just whip off the prop at the drum then pull the drum and backplate off, you will see where the holes should be on the tbox then drill and tap. Mine took 20 mins the other day to do.
